Our Story

Light & Blossom began during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. While working long shifts in healthcare through the pandemic, I searched for something to bring calm at the end of the day. Candles had always been my comfort, but I found most left me with watery eyes and headaches instead of peace. That’s when I thought — why not create my own?

Finding Calm in the Chaos

What started as a small project to make cleaner, more soothing candles quickly became something deeper. After a car accident that left me living with chronic pain, I needed a way to stay busy, motivated, and connected to something uplifting. Candle-making became that outlet — a way to create little moments of peace even on the hardest days.

Every candle I make is more than just fragrance. It’s a reminder to slow down, breathe, and create a space that feels safe and cozy. My hope is that when you light a Light & Blossom candle, you’ll feel the same sense of calm and comfort that I’ve found in making them.

Hi, I’m Allison — the heart and hands behind Light & Blossom. What started as my own search for peace has grown into something I can share with you. From hand-pouring soy candles to designing unique seasonal pieces, I put love, care, and intention into every product.

From My Home to Yours

Made in small batches here in Manitoba, each candle is thoughtfully crafted with clean ingredients and a whole lot of heart. What began as a personal need has grown into a way to bring warmth, peace, and a little glow into your everyday life.
